A Walk After the Final Cut

Stepping out of Crew Gal in North Shields, the walk towards West Monkseaton felt like a quiet decompression after the intensity of the previous six weeks. I had just come out of the exit meeting with Crew Gal, marking the end of an immersive course in making a music video, and my head was still buzzing with ideas, feedback, and a sense of achievement. As I followed the familiar streets and coastal air drifted in, the rhythm of walking seemed to mirror the creative journey I’d just completed—periods of focus, moments of doubt, and ultimately progress. By the time I reached West Monkseaton Metro, the walk had given me space to reflect, reset, and appreciate how much I’d learned, not just about music videos, but about my own creative process.
