North East Screen x Generator: End of Year Social 2025

This year, our region didn’t just hold its own – it made headlines. From big-screen moments like 28 Years Later, landmark partnerships, and studio developments, to the Mercury Prize landing in the North for the first time. From groundbreaking talent development to major new creative infrastructure across Tees Valley, Tyne & Wear and beyond – the North has proved, again, that it’s ready to lead.

This night is about celebrating that energy. A space to connect, catch up and share what we’ve built together. A chance to bring the region’s creators, producers, leaders and innovators into one room – recognising the talent powering this moment, and the community that makes it possible.

North East Screen is the screen agency for the North East and is responsible for managing the growth of the screen sector with the North East Screen Industries Partnership (NESIP). In addition to supporting the North East Production Fund, North East Screen is delivering a groundbreaking programme to grow a thriving screen ecosystem which includes a hands-on Film Office service and significant skills and talent support.
