Author’s Note
After exploring Whitby Abbey, we hopped on the Whitby Town Open Top Bus. It proved to be a convenient mode of transportation, allowing us to travel effortlessly from the elevated heights of the hill down to the East and West areas, with a convenient stop outside the Co-op. Moreover, it offered us a unique and enjoyable experience as well as insight to Whitby’s rich history and culture. Admittedly we didn’t take the full tour as the day was coming to an end and the bus was only dropping passengers off at the Co-op, the last stop.
