The Millenium Bridge, The Roman Fort Segedunum, The Tyne Tunnel, The Shields Ferry, Tyne Mouth Priory & Castle, The Spanish City, St. Mary’s Lighthouse, Seaton Sluice Harbour, Ridley Park in Blyth, Northumberlandia, Jesmond Dene Falls & Mill
This ride is 40 miles long and we will stop at many of the sites for a short break and to take in the sights. However, some fitness is required for this ride and you should have experience with longer rides and a decent bike. Have some food and plenty of water with you as well.

My Route
Unfortunately, I couldn’t match the pace of the youngsters, but I still managed to cover 32 miles, punctuated by a couple of Power Naps in the occasional farmer’s field to rejuvenate some depleted energy. Feeling drained, I made a necessary pit stop at an off-license in Backworth. There, I replenished with a couple of bottles of water and treated myself to a Magnum ice cream to refuel.
