SUMMARY:Project Hail Mary
DESCRIPTION:Ryan Gosling is cast away amongst the stars in this kaleidoscopic\, (inter)stellar adaptation of Andy Weir’s bestselling sci-fi novel\, as an amnesiac science teacher wakes up alone aboard a spaceship – and forges an unexpected friendship upon first contact. \nScience teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship light-years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns\, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. \nHe must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone. \nBrought the screen with breathtaking scope\, kinetic energy and affecting heart by dynamic directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street and the producers behind the Spider-Verse franchise)\, this is stunning sci-fi spectacle on an astonishing\, intergalactic cinematic canvas with grounded\, deeply human pathos. \nRead More \nProject Hail Mary

SUMMARY:Blyth Battery Goes to War
DESCRIPTION:Blyth Battery Goes to War tells the story of the coastal artillery battery in Blyth and its crucial role during the Second World War. Built to defend the north-east coastline\, the battery was equipped with heavy guns to protect shipping and deter enemy naval attacks in the North Sea. During the war\, soldiers stationed there endured harsh weather and constant vigilance as they guarded against the threat of German invasion. Today\, Blyth Battery stands as a restored heritage site and museum\, preserving original gun emplacements\, underground magazines\, and wartime equipment\, offering visitors a powerful insight into Britain’s coastal defences and the experiences of those who served there.
