Typically, I’d start my day by popping into Poundland to grab some essentials for the day ahead. My usual food fix consisted of cheese sandwiches and a trusty bottle of water. I didn’t tend to eat much throughout the day, as I’d be busy walking around the city or exploring museums.
As the day drew to a close, I always looked forward to treating myself to a McDonald’s Double Cheeseburger with Fries for my evening meal. I’d usually find the McDonald’s located at the end of Princes Street, and after indulging in my burger fix, I’d make my way back to the hostel. There, I’d unwind with a few drinks at the bar before calling it a night.
